The Cornucopia Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards of Derbyshire No. 9925, or Cornucopia Lodge for short, is one of the youngest Lodges in the Province, being consecrated in 2016. The Lodge holds its annual Installation meetings at Ilkeston in early December. Other meetings are often held elsewhere in the Province of Derbyshire.
We are honoured to support the Province by hosting the annual meeting where promotions are conferred on Provincial Officers. We also host the annual Provincial Lecture Festival, where junior Brethren are encouraged to develop by delivering high quality ritual—many Ilkeston Freemasons have taken part. These meetings take place in April and July respectively.
Membership of the Lodge is restricted to those who are, or have been, Provincial Grand Stewards of this or another Province, and accordingly we have already a membership of over 50. However, this criterion does not preclude any Mason from attending our meetings, and any visitor can be assured of a warm welcome, and the shared values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
Like all other Freemasons Lodges, charitable giving forms a strong part of what we do.
